Description

Although I configured Synergy to launch at login and have set the menu bar controls to display all the time, my Synergy menu bar controls do not display automatically upon login. I have to go to my system preferences and manually start Synergy.

I am running Synergy 3.5 on OS X 10.5.7

Looks like a duplicate of ticket #1355; please see that ticket.

For reference, just put up a wiki article on this.

This was not a duplicate ticket to 1355. I will review the wiki and see if I can get this resolved.

So how's it not a duplicate? Both tickets are about not launching at login and having to start Synergy manually.

    Ticket #1355:

I recently upgraded to Synergy 3.4, and the program no longer launches when I login ("Launch Synergy at login") is checked in the System Preferences. I have to click the Start/Stop button every time I boot my machine in order to get the program running.

    This ticket:

Although I configured Synergy to launch at login and have set the menu bar controls to display all the time, my Synergy menu bar controls do not display automatically upon login. I have to go to my system preferences and manually start Synergy.

One ticket refers to version 3.4 and the other to 3.5, but sure looks like the same issue to me.
