Feature request #1447: Show unconfirmed email alerts on user dashboard

In the transition to AuthSMTP most outgoing mails from the site were broken (things like forgotten passphrase helpers and email address confirmatons).

This got me thinking, what happenings to things like confirmations in this case? Users signing up during this period will never receive those confirmations, as they were "hard failures".

We do have a fairly nice mechanism in place for resending things like confirmations:

• when user tries to post a comment, an issue or a topic, they see a flash which says "You have not yet verified your email address so your submission will be held for moderation. Confirm your address to avoid this delay."
• it they click the "Confirm your address" link they'll be taken to https://wincent.dev/confirm/new (resource which only works for logged-in users)
• on that page they get presented with a list of unconfirmed addresses (usually that means just one address) and can initiate another confirmation process

But I think we could go further than this, by adding a reminder on the user dashboard (the first thing they see when logging in).
