Bug #1561: to you have an "app" for the iPad/?

Description

I have "The Word of Promish" audio bible installed on iTunes and/or audio books. I like to follow reading along the Bible while hearing it on my iPad. Do you have an "app" so the audio controls float on the screen while audio is playing while in a another mode?

    At the moment I haven't released any apps for the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch, and as far as I know, what you're asking for (an app which overlays info on top of other apps) most likely isn't possible. My understanding of the APIs that Apple has made available is that applications run only one at a time, and the running app has full control of basically the entire screen.

    The next version of the iOS will have a limited form of multitasking, but as far as I know, apps will still essentially be "taking turns" at having control of the entire screen.
