Repro

  1. :h :h
  2. C-w o
  3. :CommandT
  4. a<esc>

Expected

No error

Actual

Vim prints error. Unfortunately, it disappears fast enough that I can't copy it. Something about "can't unload buffer in CommandCancel".

    Following those steps I can't repro, so it must be dependent on some setting you have active. Care to post your .vimrc?

    It seems I'm encountering similar problem, I don't see any error, but <esc> simply doesn't work... Others basic mappings seems works fine. Default vim package at ubuntu 10.10

    Concern <esc> not working issue I found: https://wincent.dev/issues/1531 And yes, I'm running vim in terminal :)
