Bug #1892: Control button appear briefly in menu bar then synergy stops

Description

Having upgraded to lion synergy no longer opens on login (I have checked and unchecked and rechecked the option in Synergy preferences).

When I try to start it from synergy preferences the control buttons appear for about 2 seconds and then the application stops and the start button returns.

I am using 4.5.2 system preferences.app. However if I start the synergy app it starts preferences 4.2

Please advise as I love this app

    I have had no reply to this. I cannot start Synergy since I upgraded to Lion. It appears briefly in the menu bar and then disappears. On the preference pane the start button returns after a few seconds. This is true wether I am trying to start at login or start from the app.
