Description

Hello there,

We can't assign shift-option-1 as a hot key in Synergy. It just shows up as command-v in the hot key area whenever we type shift-option-1. We are on a MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo running 10.4.8.

Thanks, Scott

I can't reproduce this one on my system (Intel iMac, 10.4.8). The pref pane allows me to set Shift-Option-1 as a hot key combination, and the application itself responds to the combination as expected.

There is, however, an unrelated cosmetic bug: that the preference pane shows the combination as "Shift-Option-!" (because on my Spanish keyboard shift+1 is actually "!"; but that's a display issue only.

I can't fix this one if I can't reproduce it. Can anybody else reproduce it on their system? It would be interesting to see if you can replicate the problem from another user account on your machine.

Oops, I'm so sorry for reporting this as a bug. This is my fault. I had the "shift-option-1" keystroke assigned to something else via my Keyboard Maestro program. Sorry!

Ok, glad to hear that it's working for you.
