Description

It would be nice to be listening to a song and think "Who is that group?" or "What's the name of that song?" and move the mouse over a feature in the menu bar or click on it and have the temporary pane reappear as it did during the first 10 or 15 seconds of play.

I think this might already be covered. If you hover the mouse over the play/pause button in the menu bar then after a second or two you will see a tool-tip containing the info for the currently playing track.

If you want more info than that you can also define a hot key to bring the Floater back up.

Finally, if you right-click, control-click or click-and-hold on the play/pause button in the menu bar then you'll bring up the Global Menu, and in the "Recent tracks" listing the very top track will actually be the currently playing track.

So that's three ways to get at the information about an already-playing track. I am going to close this issue but you are welcome to re-open it if you want to propose an additional method of providing the kind of information you want.
