From a user email:

"I have noticed the 'hit state' on the new default button set in 3.2 (in Leopard) is quite small. You have to click on the dark parts of the buttons exactly for it to work. Is it possible to create a transparent 'hot zone' so the user doesnt have to be pin point accurate when pressing the buttons?"

Good point... I'll see if I can find a way to detect hits in the transparent parts of the buttons.
