Description

I installed Synergy to try it out. It says I get 7 days trial. I have had it for less than an hour is has turn itself off 5 times, iTunes is still open and playing buy Synergy control panel switches to start. The Menu control buttons going away is a quick clue that it has shut off again. I turned on the floater it didn't work the first time Synergy was started, when Synergy turned itself off and I started it again, it worked. The third time I had to turn Synergy it on it didn't work. It did work on the 4th and 5th start of the app. All my iTunes music files have artwork associated with them, but it doesn't always show the artwork in the floater. I thought I had lost some of the artwork, but I can go to coverflow and see the artwork but the floater still displays a "?" I was interested in the app but seems pretty unstable. If this is the standard new user experience I would expect a lot of them to no keep the app.

It's not the standard new user experience. You're running 3.5a2 and the "a" stands for "alpha":

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Development_stage#Alpha

If you want a non-alpha release, the latest stable release is version 3.2 which you can get from here:

If you'd like to see the quitting problems fixed, can you please provide the crash reports? You should be able to find them in your ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/ folder.
