    Maybe you're seeing:

Without more information it's difficult to know.

    Hello,

I am now experiencing the same thing after upgrading to 3.4. No problems before. Running on Leopard 10.5.7. Synergy appears to just randomly quit throughout the day. The link you've provided for a similar case seems to no longer exist.

    Thanks

Yeah, the issue is still around, but the URL changed: it's still ticket #640 though.

Can you provide a crash log? (Look in /Users/<your user name>/Library/Logs/CrashReporter)

There are also some troubleshooting tips here that might help you. I wrote those tips back in 2004, so it's probably time to update them... I'll work on something on the "Bug reports" page on the wiki.

Thanks. I'll try cleaning up and reinstalling for now.

I can't find any crash report though. Perhaps the app is not crashing, but instead something triggers it to stop?

    Maybe it's not quitting.

Do you have a narrow screen with lots of menu extras? If there are too many for the screen width the OS might temporarily be hiding Synergy.

Or perhaps in the preferences you have it set to show/hide itself depending on whether iTunes is running or not.

I've got the exact same problem and I do have a crash log in my Logs folder. Well, two actually. One for 06-26 of this year, and the other for today, 07-04.

Mine also seems to crash at random. I really only notice when I go to use my hotkeys to change or play/pause a song and it doesn't work.

Can you send me the crash logs?

Closing due to lack of response.
