Feature request #517: REQUEST: Submit tracks played on iPod to last.fm

Description

One of the reasons I will continue to use iScrobbler rather than Synergy's last.fm feature is the ability to upload ALL my recently played tracks to last.fm, not just those played locally. The relevant preference in iScrobbler reads: "Enable iPod Submissions Using Playlist: " ... I use "Recently Played," the default smart playlist of that name. This way the podcasts and other tracks I listen to away from home still make it to my last.fm profile when I get home and sync my iPod.

Thanks for submitting the request. Others had mentioned this one to me, so it's good to have a ticket open for it in the database.

See also feature request #531, which is about "shared library" tracks.

yeah yeah. synergy would be flawless if it has this feature. i'd love you to include this feature. at the moment i just do without my ipod play counts getting scrobbled because i dont like the iscrobbler app...

i agree. Synergy's ability to go completely headless sets it apart. I dislike even the menubar that other scrobblers present.

This request is really old ... still nothing happening with this?

It's not something I've been working on concretely. However, I recently got an iPod again so it's something that I can potentially look at now that I have the tools to actually investigate what would be required.
